Make an account

Go to https://oware.akuadora.net.
Choose Create account.
Pick a name of 3 to 20 characters: letters, numbers, - and _ only. Other players see this name, so don't use your full real name.
Pick a password of at least 8 characters. Use one you don't use anywhere else.

Next time, enter the same name and password to sign in. There is no email address on your account, so we can't send a reset link. If you forget your password, make a new account.

Play the computer

Choose Play the computer, pick a level (easy, medium or hard), choose who starts and press Start game.

Play a person

Choose Play a person. You are matched with the next player who is looking. The lobby shows how many people are online and waiting. Each move has a three minute limit.

How to play

The board has two rows of six pits. The row nearest to you is yours. Each pit starts with four seeds.
On your turn, pick one of your pits. Its seeds are sown one by one, counter-clockwise, into the next pits.
If your last seed lands in your opponent's row and makes that pit hold two or three seeds, you capture them, and also the pits just before it that hold two or three.
The first to capture 25 of the 48 seeds wins. 24 each is a draw.

Your record

The lobby shows Your record: wins, draws and losses, separately against people and against the computer. Best players lists who has won the most games against other people; games against the computer don't count there.
